Questions parents ask

Can we keep listening after a trial or subscription ends?
Yes. Your saved stories have unlimited replays without an active subscription. New story creation follows your current allowance. Keep access to your library by linking an account in Settings; Restore Purchases does not recover an unlinked guest library.
Can I pick the narrator's voice?
Yes. Each child profile has its own narrator preference — male or female — and you can switch between several professional voices.
What ages is TaleToaster for?
2 through 10+. Story complexity, vocabulary, and length adjust based on each child’s age tier (2–3, 4–6, 7–9, 10+).
How long is each story?
Each audiobook runs about 4–5 minutes — long enough for a real story arc, short enough to fit a car ride or wind-down moment.
Is my child's data safe?
We only store a first name, age, and the interests you choose to share. No ads, no ad tracking, no data brokers; the only third-party measurement is anonymous install attribution for our own advertising. See our privacy policy for details.
Does it work on Android?
iOS-only for now. Android is on the roadmap.
Can multiple kids share one account?
Yes. Each child gets their own profile with custom interests and a preferred narrator voice. Up to 6 profiles per account.
What if my child wants a specific story?
Use the “Anything else?” field on the theme screen to add a one-off twist — “include a dragon,” “the moral should be about sharing,” etc. It gets woven into THIS story without saving to the profile.
How much does TaleToaster cost?
Start with 3 free stories per account, shared across child profiles. No subscription or payment card is needed. After those, one free story unlocks 7 days after your most recent completed story; unused weekly stories do not accumulate. Saved stories have unlimited replays.
